Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill follows ten suburban teenagers who gather at an abandoned greenhouse, using it as a private space to escape and explore their identities.
As tensions rise, the group is forced to confront their past after the reappearance of a lost classmate in this 90 minute examination of guilt, shame, and what it means to grow up too fast in a town that can’t keep up.
Content Warning: Mature subject matter, including themes of mental health, death, bullying/harassment, and sexuality. Contains coarse language, implied nudity, and depictions of seizures and substance use.
Concord Floral was first produced in 2014 by Suburban Beast and presented by Why Not Theatre at the Theatre Centre (Toronto, ON). It was written by Jordan Tannahill over a three-year development process with Erin Brubacher, Cara Spooner and a group of teenagers from across the Greater Toronto Area. The original production was created and directed by Erin Brubacher, Cara Spooner, and Jordan Tannahill.

Musical Theatre Intensive (Weekly)

Learn and perform full scenes from popular musicals while developing vocal, movement, and acting abilities.
Led by formally trained, professional musical theatre actors.
Ages 16-20 *Other ages may be accepted at the discretion of the program director. Audition and/or applicable experience may be required.

Play Study Class (Weekly)

An in-depth study of a play and its characters, culminating in a fully staged performance.
Led by formally trained, professional actors.

GBPA Glee Choir
CA$225.00/season
A beginner-friendly class focused on learning to work and perform as a group.
Learn how to harmonize with your friends, move on the stage, and build confidence.
Led by formally trained, professional vocalist and performer.

Grace McRae
Founder - Vocal, Acting, & Movement Instructor
With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience.
Grace earned her BA in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College in 2016 and has worked as a professional performer and a teacher from graduation.
The performing arts have been a driving force in her life from childhood and it has always been her dream to share the joy it brings with all those interested in getting involved. With a particular passion for serving the youth in her community, Grace hopes to ignite a fire for the arts in her hometown and surrounding area.
Aaron Crose
Acting Instructor
Aaron Crose is an actor, voice actor, and aspiring multi-hyphenate in search of new hats to wear.
After receiving a BA in Psychology and Speech Communication from the University of Waterloo, Aaron trained in Theatre Performance at Humber College. From Clown and Improv, to Stage Combat, to Playwriting and Contemporary Dance, they're keen to pass this training on and enable young performers to reach new creative heights.
Whether training university students to sing a cappella from scratch to teaching Zip Zap Zop to 7 year olds, Aaron is excited to have the opportunity to help people find a creative spark.
